Exploratory Data Analysis of sklearn wine dataset
Performed an exploratory data analysis on a wine chemical composition dataset. I cover the basic stages of EDA and walk through how this process provides insight into the data, opening the way for more directed further analysis.
Association Rule Mining: Market Basket Analysis on a grocery dataset
This market basket analysis is based on transactional data from a grocery store. I used the MLxtend python library to implement the apriori algorithm in conducting the MBA. The purpose of this exercise was to identify product groups to be the focus of promotional, marketing and discounting activities.
Basic Sales Data Analysis
This is an analysis based on sales data which aims to answer the more basic questions that might be asked: what is the total number of sales, what is the monthly revenue, what were the best and worst selling periods etc. I call this the basic sales data analysis because from here you can get into more advanced analyses such as determining which products to order more or less of and whether to focus on acquiring new customers and how much to spend on it.
Stock Market Data Analysis
This project takes stock market data from the S&P500 Index and tries to determine whether a trading strategy outlined in the exercise might yield a profit based on the parameters used.
Sales Dashboard
This is a sales dashboard based on a dummy sales dataset. This dashboard incorporates aspects of a strategic and an analytical dashboard to provide a longer term view of performance, but also allows for the ability to dig deep into the numbers to find specific patterns.
