Here's some more info about me
At the beginning of 2018, I didn't know where my life was going. I had worked a brief stint in the film industry as a production assistant and production coordinator. The exposure to Excel and data in the film industry had me thinking that a data-related career might be interesting. After some reflection about my passions and interests, I committed to completing a bachelors degree in economics and psychology and also learning everything I could about programming, data analytics and the tech industry.
After building up a small data analytics portfolio and many many many (many) online courses and tutorials later, I managed to land a job as a projects analyst and then business operations analyst. This solidified my domain and technical knowledge and provided the necessary insight to understand the appropriate progression of my career.
I then moved into a role of data analyst where I utilised my knowledge of data analytical frameworks and methodologies combined with my technical skills to understand our data and derive actionable insights.
I then moved on to my current role as business analyst where I am more focused on understanding operations and processes to implement improvements, and on designing, developing, maintaining and improving the data architecture and infrastructure of our organisation.

I believe that having an online presence is becoming increasingly indispensable in the modern work environment. The purpose of this website is to provide a single point of contact for interested parties to engage with me and my work.
Looking back, from a young age I would record data and try to use this to my advantage; for example, recording my swimming times to determine which technique was faster. Professionally, however, I have been designing databases and performing data analyses since 2018 in the film industry and in various other freelance projects. Get in touch to find out more!
Yes, I do. I remember creating my first database using Microsoft Access in 2017. It's incredible how things have changed since then. I am proficient in SQL and use it daily to perform my duties as a data analyst. I also have experience with database development and data warehousing, having maintained personal databases using MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
I am interested in understanding business problems, and conceptualising, developing and implementing solutions that are data-driven. Additionally, I am interested in exploring datasets, without a pre-defined set of problems, and developing roadmaps or next-step reports to explore how that data can be used.
