A few interesting things about me: I'm passionate about squash; play WP league and train at least 4 times a week. Music is another love of mine, with my talents spanning the organ, piano, and trumpet, in that order of proficiency. I have a penchant for planning and efficiency, utilizing Notion to organize my life meticulously. Above all, I'm committed to lifelong learning, constantly seeking new knowledge—be it in analytics tools, figuring out why my dog spins in circles before laying down, or understanding intriguing operational systems (like the complexities of offshore oil rigs).
Professionally, I hold bachelor’s degrees in Film Production Management, and Economics and Psychology. Currently, I serve as a Data Architect at Slant Research where I am also the Technical Co-Founder. My role entails designing and managing the data architecture and infrastructure vital to the functioning of Slant. Additionally, I engage in projects aimed at improving overall efficiency, productivity and scalability.
I thrive on designing efficient systems and robust frameworks that streamline data storage, processing, and management, ensuring seamless operational flow.
More than just a database - proper data warehousing is the foundation upon which analytics systems operate. I love the structure.
Indispensable for boosting productivity, compute power and workflows.
There's not much I love more than getting to the bottom of a problem. I relish in sitting with the data for hours trying to identify the cause of the problem.
Automation, automation, automation! Need I say more?
I enjoy distilling information and outcomes into documentation and reports. It makes things clear, it creates a record to go back to and ensures everyone is on the same page.
